mgmt: leif edit + metanoia.

This weekend I ventured to the ol' alma mater Wesleyan University. My trip included attendance at Queer Prom, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Leif was DJ-ing. After an awkwardly long drag-show, I was burnt out and ready to go. But I got a quick jolt as soon as I heard Leif starting up his edit of MGMT's "Electric Feel". My body went on autopilot after that, and I'm pretty sure I almost punched someone's face while dancing.

Coincidence or not that I opened my Google Reader this morning to find a post on To The Maxx about dear ol' Max choreographing and dancing in the video for MGMT's "Electric Feel"? (see video of moves above-- "small and mysterious" is my fave) Is this some sort of Wesleyan conspiracy to get me to like MGMT? Because I already do. Duh.

Max also brings us his monthly MAXX MIXX, which includes MGMT's "Metanoia", the 14-minute B-side to "Time To Pretend". I used to steal Max's music on Wirehog.
